Your Excellency, dear Madam/ Sir,

On the 10th of October 2010, Sint Maarten became a constituent country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands, making it a constitutional equal partner with Aruba, Curaçao and the Netherlands. On that date, the first Prime Minister of Sint Maarten, H.E. Mrs. Sarah Wescot-Williams, assumed office. She is the leader of the Democratic Party of Sint Maarten.

It is with great pleasure that we announce that Prime Minister Sarah Wescot-Williams has agreed to deliver an address at the Clingendael Institute within the framework of her official visit to the Netherlands. This address is entitled

En route to the autonomous Sint Maarten

The lecture will be held on Monday March 14, 2011 at the Clingendael Institute (Clingendael 7, The Hague) from 16.30 – 17.30 hrs. The conference room is open from 16.00 hrs. onwards. After the official program drinks will be served.
