Requirements

·         Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Business Administration/Economics/Accounting or equivalent.

·         Certified Internal Auditing (CIA) degree or CPA/RA/RO degree is a bonus.

·         Internal Audit experience within the banking sector is a bonus.

·         Ability to set-up and implement audit work programs, including independently carrying out audit activities.

·         Ability to identify risks and control weakness and recommend corrective measures.

·         Ability to write audit reports independently.

·         Willingness to travel to Saba and St. Eustatius to performs branch audits.

·         Strong communication and empathic skills.

·         Fluent verbal and written skills in English and Dutch desirable.

·         Ability to maintain a high level of discretion when dealing with sensitive/confidential information.

·         Well developed computer skills in Ms Office Words, Excel, Power Point and Internet Explorer

·         At least 3 - 5 years experience in internal auditing.

·         Having family roots in St. Maarten is a bonus.
