Persbericht: Organisatie Study & Career Event stelt 'Study Fair 2.0' uit tot 2021, inschrijven al mogelijk

De organisatie van de Study & Career Event heeft dit jaar in verband met de uitdagingen rond het Covid virus de Studie & Beroepenmarkt uitgesteld naar februari/maart 2021.

Aangezien de leerlingen op de Antillen die een vervolg opleiding gaan doen in 2021, na hun studie op MBO, HAVO of VWO, nu al hun keuze moeten maken is er besloten een online platform te creëren.

Er is een livestream platform ontwikkeld, waar leerlingen van alle zes de eilanden gratis gebruik van kunnen maken. De leerlingen kunnen een presentatie van de onderwijsinstelling van hun keuze live bijwonen en vragen stellen. De Universiteiten en Hogescholen uit Nederland, Canada, USA en Caribisch gebied kunnen zich hier voor gratis inschrijven. Er zullen ook interessante workshops gegeven worden door o.a. Studiefinanciering/DUO, TuranGoeloe, NIBUD, Ocan en anderen. De aankomende studenten kunnen hierdoor een goede keuze maken voor de toekomstige studie.

The organization of the Study & Career Event has postponed the Study & Career Market to February/March of 2021, due to the challenges associated with the COVID-19 virus.

Students in the Antilles will have to make decisions about the next phase of their education before this revised date; therefore, it has been decided to develop an online platform to allow students from all six islands to attend a presentation by the educational institution of their interest remotely through a live stream. Participation in this event will be free of charge, and students will have an opportunity to ask questions.

The Universities and Colleges of the Netherlands, Canada, USA and the Caribbean can also register to participate in this event free of charge. There will also be interesting workshops given by Student finance/DUO, TuranGoeloe, NIBUD, Ocan and others. By offering this event virtually we will ensure that, despite the current challenges, prospective students can make a good decision for their future studies.
